Under moderate supervision, the Manufacturing Engineer II provides daily support to production, ensuring the availability of assembly processes and equipment to meet production goals. The role focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency through the application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies while adhering to safety, quality, health, and environmental standards. The position is also responsible for documenting plant processes, ensuring product structure accuracy, and collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document plant processes, including work instructions and drawings, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Ensure the accuracy of product structures (Bills of Materials) and monitor assembly times, documenting and addressing issues as needed.
• Prepare and revise Bills of Materials, drawings, and work instructions while collaborating with both hourly employees and office personnel.
• Lead special projects such as equipment justification, sales equipment redesign, and shop efficiency improvements, conducting feasibility studies and determining manpower and cost estimates.
• Support Lean initiatives throughout the plant, identifying areas for improvement and leading process design modifications to enhance workflow and equipment assembly.
• Research and document proposals for new equipment and manufacturing methods, implementing solutions upon approval.
• Participate in safety incident investigations, conduct safety inspections, and create Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Autodesk 2015 (2D and 3D) is required.
• Certification or exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
