DIGCO, a Quanta Services Company, is actively seeking a Bore Rig Operator to join our growing team in the Shreveport, LA area. As a Bore Rig Operator, you will be responsible for operating horizontal directional drilling equipment to create underground tunnels and boreholes for the installation of utility lines, pipelines, and communication cables. What You'll Do Equipment Operation. Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment, including bore rigs and associated machinery, in a safe and efficient manner. Site Preparation. Assist in the setup and preparation of the work site, including positioning the rig, assembling drilling tools, and ensuring proper clearance for drilling. Safety Compliance. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Drilling Procedures. Execute drilling plans and procedures according to project specifications, ensuring accuracy and precision in boring operations.
