Admissions Counselor

Recruit and interview young adults for a job trade program.

Provide potential enrollees with realistic information regarding the career training and services available as well as the requirements and expectations placed on applicants who enroll in Job Corps.

Determine applicant's eligibility to participate in the program based on established guidelines.

Collect and record accurate data and signatures on all applicant forms. Update student information, such as address and phone number according to requirements.

Provide ongoing support through the application process and updates.

Work with students to ensure that the Career Skills program is individualized to fit the student's choice of vocation and maintain contact with students, vocational counselors, and instructors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in social work, marketing, career counseling, or a work-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Bachelor's Degree + Minimum of one year experience in sales, marketing, or counseling in a related field.

Required to have a valid driver's license in the state of Louisiana and acceptable driving record.

Location: New Orleans

Compensation: $35,568.00 + Depending on Qualifications and Experience.
