Provide assistance to clinical staff and coordinators with appointment scheduling procedures for patients. As a scheduler you will receive, log and screen new patient referrals for accuracy. Schedule appointment, mail new patient packets prior to appointments and mail determination letters. Maintain referral log for accuracy after multidisciplinary team decisions. Perform phone assessments on new patients. Reschedule no shows and cancelations. You also may be required to perform other related duties and activities as a Medical Assistant (vitals, return patient phone calls, send prescriptions, etc.).
