NuCO2 is the largest national provider of beverage grade liquid CO2 to the food service and hospitality industry.
The leader shall conduct themselves following the five pillars of safety, leading by example, while fostering a positive safe work environment.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the depot and related customer base, including production scheduling, manpower planning, general property maintenance, safety training, and compliance with government, state, and company regulations. Other duties may include working as an Installer/Technician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise a minimum of 1800 accounts and/or 10 employees across one or more depots.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and applicable federal/state laws.
- Handle interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, and conflict resolution for staff.
- Collaborate with the District Manager to meet KPI and safety compliance goals.
- Manage and approve employee payroll.
- Train drivers on DOT Hours of Service compliance using tracking devices and payroll systems.
- Conduct regular audits of vehicles, equipment, and facilities to ensure OSHA/DOT compliance.
- Monitor and respond to emails professionally and promptly.
- Review trip reports for route completion and productivity.
- Adjust workloads for deliveries and service in routing systems.
- Oversee service and installation activities following SOPs.
- Maintain accurate daily and monthly inventory reports.
- Send product level readings to suppliers and coordinate deliveries via inventory software.
- Submit trip records for vehicles with apportioned plates as required.
- Review and approve timesheets for payroll processing.
The selected candidate must have:
- High school diploma or GED; college degree is a plus but not mandatory.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- At least two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with UltiPro Payroll, Inventory Control Programs, and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
- Clean driving record meeting NuCO2's safety standards.
- Strong mechanical skills and basic building construction knowledge.
- Experience in plumbing, cable installation, or construction is preferred.
