Primary Responsibilites: Operate equipment in a Hot Rolling Mill for seamless pipe, like Bar/ Layer Saws, Rotary Hearth/ Reheat Furnace, Piercing Mill, Mandrel Mill, Stretch Reducing Mill. Monitor pulpit control panels, remote television monitors, computer terminals, HM - Is, and making parameter adjustments as necessary to maintain production pace and produce a quality product. Lead in building stand lineups and changing out tooling for the specified product. Maintain safe and reliable rolling mill systems while improving production KPIs yield, performance, and availability. Follow safety policies and procedures for equipment operation. Perform routine inspection of condition of the equipment and report to the Supervisor or the Maintenance department any required part replacement or fix. Perform in-process quality inspections and/or tests, identifying defects, and ensuring that quality meets customer specifications.
