Accountabilities: Sorts, washes, dries, folds, and stores linens according to established procedures. Sweeps, cleans, and mops work area and restrooms. Performs routine maintenance on the laundry equipment, such as cleaning dryer traps and greasing flat ironer. Maintains production output according to level of room occupancy. Assists vendors who, as part of their service, perform inspections and tests of cleaning agents and operations. Counts and processes reclaimed items. Weighs and counts all received linen. Keeps accurate records of linen delivered and received from all receiving departments; maintains daily worksheets. Anticipate and respond to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints.
