Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for developing U.S. Government (USG) proposal & requirement package documentation, curating problems, providing SME support, aligning stakeholders, and managing the execution of awarded projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within the defined scope, budget, and timeline. This role emphasizes the use of Agile and Predictive Project Management tools to rapidly field new technologies and innovative solutions for SBCC's U.S. Government customers. The Project Manager must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, collaborating closely with USG stakeholders, the Technology Scouting and Vetting Cell (TS&V), Procurement Specialists, Acquisition Program Managers (APM), Site Directors, and serving as a core member of the SBCC Integrated Product Team (IPT). A key responsibility of this role is to maintain data integrity within the project management tool to ensure accurate and real-time information delivery for informed decision-making and effective project tracking. Additionally, a solid understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes, including Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, and other funding mechanisms, is essential to succeed in this role.
