About this Job The HR Coordinator works as a member of the LSUS Human Resources department performing a wide range of tasks related to human resources management including employee orientation & onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, staffing/recruitment and maintaining data and positions in the HRIS system. Assists in administering the State Civil Service program rules, and procedures in accordance with guidelines. Serves as a resource to campus faculty and staff on university human resources policies and procedures. Is detail oriented and maintains accurate electronic and paper personnel action records. This summary is not intended to be a comprehensive or all-inclusive description of duties and responsibilities. The HR Coordinator is a full time, unclassified, exempt 12 month position.
