Join us in powering a cleaner future! We are actively seeking passionate and skilled Renewables Safety Managers. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of planning, organizing, and implementing our comprehensive Safety Program on construction projects, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and corporate environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Location & Travel Details:

This is a traveling position, requiring up to 100% travel, as you will spend 8-12 months on various project sites across the United States. A vehicle will be provided, and you will receive a designated daily per diem to assist with living expenses. We also accommodate routine travel home from the job site.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the job site safety department, directly supervising Safety Managers, Coordinators, and Specialists to uphold ethical standards and foster effective communication.
• Conduct workplace safety checks and document actions in daily reports. Perform required site safety inspections and execute the Safety Program as outlined in project safety scorecards.
• Assist in drafting and organizing jobsite safety plans, while continuously reviewing Pre-Task Plans for improvement. Collaborate with Site Production Managers to maintain robust safety and environmental plans.
• Coordinate safety training programs, including New Hire Orientation, and participate in weekly safety meetings and incident investigations.
• Engage with clients on safety matters, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
• Invest in the development of apprentices' skills and maintain an open and positive coaching atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Safety Manager I: 2-3 years of construction safety experience; compensation $64,000-$85,600/year.
• Safety Manager II: 3-5 years of construction safety management experience; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred; compensation $74,000-$98,700/year.
• Certifications like CHST are preferred, and obtaining CHST within a year is mandatory for the role.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Commitment to health and safety, adhering to the company's Zero Injury principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of producing accurate reports.
• Understanding of MSHA/OSHA regulations and injury management.
• CPR/First Aid Instructor certification is a plus.
