2. Main Objectives & Tasks

Tasks
General - all positions
Operates in compliance with standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
Report / notify floater, lead, supervisor, or area manager any incident/accident or failure to follow procedure during shift.
Responsible for the shift inspection of mobile industrial equipment and reporting of any defectives to the maintenance staff and supply chain management chain of command.
Responsible for compliance of all safety standards applicable to the execution of MHD operations (Mobile industrial equipment / Packaging / Unpacking / Material unloading / Material loading... All operations listed on MHD DDP).
Responsible for housekeeping of work area and to participate in 5s initiatives.
Responsible for the safe emptying of trash and scrap containers.
Responsible to train and assist new hires Lead Operator / MHD Operator / MHD Support.
Responsible for the safe completion of rail movements.
Responsible for the wrapping of material (Push Wrapper or manual when needed).
Responsible for the tagging / retagging of material.
Participates in training programs, safety and technical courses at the times set by the company.
Responsible for keeping certification updated (Forklift / Overhead crane / Shuttle Wagon / Mule).
Responsible for complying with the provisions of the Contract and the Working Rules.
Responsible for shift pass down communication report.
Perform all DDP procedures assign to area.

Shipping Support
Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of material using the forklift and / or overhead crane. Scan, mark, pull, and stage loads.
Responsible for documentation sent to the scale house.
Responsible to assist in the coverage of CPL Exit Driver as needed. Housekeeping in the area that you are working.
Responsible to empty trash and scrap material from the area.

Warehouse Support - CPL Exit
Responsible for safely removing coils from CPL Exit with forklift and / or overhead crane.
Responsible for staging material for CPL Exit (vertical and horizontal).
Responsible for accurate scanning of material when stowed.
Responsible to assist in shipping as needed regarding pulling and staging loads. Responsible for the movement of material on the hold list to location.
Responsible for movement of lead strips and dead heads for CPL.
Responsible to empty trash and scrap material from the area.

Warehouse Support
Responsible for the completion of tasks assigned by supervisor, lead, floater, and / or operator.
Responsible for housekeeping in the area you are working.
Responsible for the completion of a scan at the beginning of the shift and the end as assigned by operator, floater, lead, and / or supervisor.
Responsible for the radiation detection of inbound material. Responsible to empty trash and scrap material from the area.

Shipping Operator
Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of material using the forklift and / or overhead crane.
Responsible for documentation from accepting inbound scale ticket to exit weight from the guard shack. Responsible for proper staging of loads corresponding to pick up times and dates.

Responsible for the completion / communication of tasks from a pass down and / or to do list.
Responsible to support the lead and / or assume responsibility in the lead's absence. Responsible for the completion of a scan at the beginning of the shift and the end as assigned by floater, lead, and / or supervisor.

Floater
Responsible to verify coil identification upon mode of receipt and to properly show storage location using SAP.
Responsible to displace coil inventory rejected by the production unit to storage locations.
Responsible to support the production unit with coil inventory as dictated by the production unit schedule.
Responsible to make ready coil inventory required for shipping to end customer according to release prepared by order management.
In absence of team lead responsible for equipment inventory pass down.
In absence of team lead responsible to verify all mobile equipment inspections are is completed at the beginning of the shift.
In absence of team lead responsible for coil warehouse verification. (can be appointed by team lead to support on this activity any time)
Responsible to document inventory discrepancies as they pertain to availability for the production unit or to fulfill shipping requirements.
Responsible for the loading and documentation of boxcar and transverse loads.
Responsible to document handling damage internal or external and to support the quality claim procedure.
Consolidate and scan working field to show updated location on SAP for the material moved.
Packing of material WIPNP according to the packing code required by the order.
Verify packaging inventory levels and report low inventories.
Responsible for performing inventory audits for work area aligned to Inventory Analyst cycle count.
Attend training and certification programs involved with the quality system.
Supports the execution of inventories.
Provides information if it is required to him/her in case of audit.

Packaging Machine Operator
Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of material using the forklift and / or overhead crane onto wrapping machine.
Responsible for accurate scanning on packaging pipeline process.
Responsible to empty trash material from the area.
Responsible for reporting packaging performance at end of shift.
Responsible for reporting to MHD supervisor and maintenance any failure or issue with packaging machine.
Responsible for housekeeping in the area you are working.

Team Leader
Responsible to verify coil identification upon mode of receipt and to properly show storage location using SAP.
Responsible to displace coil inventory rejected by the production unit to storage locations.
Responsible to support the production unit with coil inventory as dictated by the production unit schedule.
Responsible to make ready coil inventory required for shipping to end customer according to release prepared by order management.
Responsible for equipment inventory pass down.
Responsible for delegation of tasks given on the pass down of the supervisor or area manager.
Responsible to verify all mobile equipment inspections are completed at the beginning of the shift.
Responsible for the loading and documentation of boxcar and transverse loads.
Responsible for coil warehouse verification.
Responsible to document inventory discrepancies as they pertain to availability for the production unit or to fulfill shipping requirements.
Verify diesel and propane levels, notify if level is 1 third or below of capacity.
Responsible to document handling damage internal or external and to support the quality claim procedure.
Consolidate and scan working field to show updated location on SAP for the material moved.
Attend training and certification programs involved with the quality system.
Packing of material WIPNP according to the packing code required by the order.
Verify packaging inventory levels and report low inventories.
