Maintenance Technician I

Responsible for maintaining senior housing facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and comfortable living. Duties include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and supervision of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
  
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
  
• Supervise and train maintenance staff.
  
• Manage supplies, equipment, and documentation.
  

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; vocational training preferred.
  
• 2+ years maintenance experience (senior housing a plus).
  
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  
• Certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
  
• Valid driver's license required.
  

Work Environment
Indoor/outdoor senior housing setting with occasional on-call and flexible hours.
