ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Maintain regular and prompt attendance.
  2. Work hard and care about your job.
  3. Clean each individual office and work area across the facility.
  4. Clean and maintain all production breakrooms as scheduled.
  5. Clean all campus bathrooms and port-au-johns as scheduled.
  6. Clean and maintain all office common areas including conference rooms, foyer and lobby, stairs and stairwells, mailroom and breakrooms.
  7. Clean and maintain EDU Building.
  8. Set up EDU rooms for meetings as instructed.
  9. Wash safety vests and bath towels as needed.
  10. Observe all safety and security procedures.
  11. Demonstrate organizational skills relative to equipment and storage.
  12. Report immediately to supervisor any equipment found to be in disrepair. Minor repair work to be completed as instructed.
  13. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  14. Inventory assigned work area's cleaning supplies, water, paper goods, etc. and report to supervisor.
  15. Light window cleaning.
  16. Dust blinds.
  17. Wipe baseboards.
  18. Wipe out refrigerators.
  19. Dust pictures, shelves, filing cabinets, and flat surfaces.
  20. Wash and dry laundry as needed.
  21. Wipe down and dust furniture.
  22. Sweep, mop and vacuum.
  23. Clean courtyard furniture as scheduled.
  24. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Confidentiality is a must.
  2. Positive attitude and work ethic expected.
  3. Janitorial or housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
  4. Understanding of cleaning compounds and solutions.
  5. Knowledge of hazardous materials helpful.
  6. Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary for cleaning tasks.
  7. Able to withstand exposure to atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: cleaning chemicals, fumes and odors, dust etc.
  8. Must be able to work in all weather conditions inside and outside.
  9. Ability to work at a rapid work pace with limited supervision while effectively and efficiently completing tasks.
  10. Ability to adjust shift start/stop times as required. Ability to work a rotating schedule that could alternate between 6am-2:30pm or 10:30am-7pm.
  1. GED or equivalent.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including protective eyewear and steel-toed boots daily.
  2. Ability to ascend, descend and work from a ladder, platform or mechanical lift.
  3. Ability to bend, climb, push, pull, stoop, squat, or twist as needed.
  4. Ability to use hands and arms in a repetitive motion.
  5. Ability to work from a kneeling position as needed.
  6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when moving materials on the job.
