The Courtesy Monitor is responsible for promoting a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves observing and reporting inappropriate behavior, reminding guests of facility rules and policies, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all.
Politely enforce facility rules, policies, and guidelines.
Monitor assigned areas to identify and address inappropriate behavior or safety concerns.
Provide assistance and guidance to guests, answering questions and resolving minor issues.
Respond calmly and effectively to conflicts or complaints, escalating when necessary.
Conduct regular walkthroughs of the facility to ensure cleanliness and order.
Document incidents and report unsafe or disruptive behavior to management or security.
Work collaboratively with staff to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Maintain a visible and approachable presence to deter misconduct.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or facility monitoring is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and courteous in high-pressure or confrontational situations.
Dependable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
Capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
Indoor/outdoor work depending on facility.
May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.
Occasional exposure to loud environments or crowds.
