Runs practices and procedures established for their job.
Responsible to properly operate and maintain equipment and tools at their position.
Responsible for meeting the safety standards of his department, and the use of protective equipment according to the basic table in the area.
The order and cleanliness are made according to the program area.
Works under the Quality System.
Participates in training programs, safety and technical courses at the times set by the company.
Responsible for complying with the provisions of the Contract and the Working Rules.
All line operators are required to carry 2way radio and be available for communication at all times during scheduled shift.
Specific
Slitter Operator
Feeds the MES/SAP system with operational data.
Supports all operating activities scheduled preventive maintenance.
Is responsible for notifying the supervisor when there is a deviation in the yield of the raw material.
Is responsible for reporting faults or abnormalities as well as improvements of the equipment under his responsibility to the supervisor.
Check the requirements of the production program under its responsibility.
Applies all operating procedures of the Quality System applicable to his area to maintain continuous the line.
Constantly checks the raw material in size, shape and form according to the production schedule, and in case of failure takes the decision not process out of spec material.
Feeds the line with raw material.
Maintains an orderly clean work area.
Positions requires overall machine set-up, to comply with current work plan.
Be available to assist with all activities as required and directed by Supervisor

Slitter Operator Helper
Responsible to ensure all material scheduled is staged ready to load
Load and unload all material to the line and off the line.
Package and remove material from the immediate area as needed
Safely operate cranes/forklifts
Ensure material is properly identified with proper tagging.
Perform daily Crane and forklift inspections
Assist slitter operator to machine setup as needed
Weigh and verify all material.
