QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pass Work Steps physical.
• Ability to get along and communicate with others.

1. Sweeps, mops, wet-washes, and vacuums floors in assigned area with industrial size mops and/or machines.
2. Strips, buffs, and waxes floors daily by using industrial grade machinery.
3. Dusts furniture and cleans and polishes fixtures on a daily schedule.
4. Keeps wastebaskets empty and clean.
5. Sweeps sidewalks, porches, and tile surfaces.
6. Operates wet/dry vacuums.
7. Strives constantly to promote the safety, health, and comfort of the students and employees.
8. Serves, as needed, on a specialized floor maintenance crew whose work involves the principal responsibility for stripping, buffing and waxing floors by using industrial grade machinery.
9. Performs many varied custodial tasks related to the upkeep of buildings and grounds.
