Genesis Staffing is seeking a talented and professional Dispatcher/Admin Assistant to join their client's team in Bossier City, LA! This is a full time opening working a minimum of 40 hours per week, hourly pay is $18.00/hr.

The Dispatcher/Office Admin responsibilities are as follows:

• Daily efficient dispatching of crews to jobs within the market area.
• Back-office communication with customers, construction managers, project managers and construction supervisors in support of field operations.
• Dispatchers should have experience in data entry, and the ability to communicate clearly and cordially with customers via digital correspondence.
• Attention to detail is a must, Microsoft Office experience is required for daily activities.
• Provide administrative support to the team, scheduling meetings, etc.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
• Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical/paper.
• Coordinate procurement of office supplies and equipment maintenance.
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate parties.
• Greet visitors and provide assistance as needed, perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Prior experience dispatching vehicles required (1 year +)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks are required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass drug screen and background check

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

• Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions.
• Hearing: Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.
• Speaking: Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
• Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg.
• Walking: Able to walk through the shop and other outside elements
