Janitor / Custodian

Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay: $15-$17 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to join our team in Shreveport, LA. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment and be able to work independently during morning hours.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Refill supplies such as paper products and soap
• Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance tasks
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
