Tradesmen International is seeking experienced Industrial Manufacturing Journeyman Electricians for full?time work in Shreveport, LA. This role plays a vital part in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for manufacturing facilities, contributing to safety and production efficiency on site. Primary Function

To install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components in an industrial manufacturing setting, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with safety standards.

Tools and Equipment Used

• Hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers)
• Conduit benders (EMT and rigid)
• Multimeters and other electrical testing devices
• Tape measure, torque wrenches, and fabrication tools
• EMT and rigid conduit
• Electrical wiring and cable
• Terminal boxes and transformers
• DC cabinets and electrical panels
• Fasteners, bolts, and mounting hardware

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Bend and run EMT and rigid conduit
• Construct and fabricate parts to fit layout needs
• Pull cable, bolt up, and terminate wiring in terminal boxes
• Inspect and test components to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Work with transformers, DC cabinets, and control panels
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
• Proficient in reading tape measures, using hand/power tools
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout diagrams
• Strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship
