The Assembly and Test Operator is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Roles and Responsibilities: • Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures. • Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. • Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. • Create labor records for all transactions. • Ensure good housekeeping within own work area. • Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments. • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications and Experience: • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) • Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools. • Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly. • Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred. • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
