Position Summary

This role leads, manages, and executes internal and external communications strategies supporting projects, programs, products, and services across multiple audiences and market segments. The position is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality content across a variety of channels, ensuring alignment with corporate and business unit brand strategies.

The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator who can translate complex topics into clear, compelling messaging, build strong stakeholder relationships, and manage a diverse content portfolio that supports both internal and external communications objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Communications Strategy & Execution

  • Lead, plan, produce, implement, and analyze internal and external communications strategies and tactics
  • Support communications across multiple functional areas including technical writing, public relations, and corporate communications
  • Interpret complex issues and present information clearly, adapting style, tone, and messaging for different audiences and channels
Content Development & Portfolio Management
  • Own and manage the enterprise content portfolio, including print and digital content for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain a global view of all content related to the corporate brand and business unit brands
  • Research, write, and edit content for a wide range of deliverables, including:
    • Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
    • Technical documentation
    • White papers and research reports
    • Case studies and customer testimonials
    • Product and marketing brochures
    • Advertising materials and email campaigns
    • Presentations, executive speeches, and major internal announcements
    • Video and animation scripts
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including vendors, agencies, and channel partners
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of case studies and references by partnering with project executives and consulting teams
  • Collaborate with strategic external partners (e.g., analysts, consultancies) to license content and co-develop white papers or research materials
  • Consult with Line of Business leaders to understand industry trends, insights, and customer needs, translating them into effective communications
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Identify cross-team impacts and communicate needs and dependencies to peers and leadership
  • Foster collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging
  • Support community involvement initiatives through research and creative proposal development
Job Specifications / Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in communications roles supporting multiple content types and audiences
  • Portfolio of completed communications projects required
Core Skills & Competencies
  • Strong writing, editing, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to groups
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate, timely results
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and desktop publishing applications
  • Experience with flowcharts and documentation tools
