Job Summary:

In this role, you will ensure that our baked goods meet company standards for preparation and presentation while working closely with bakery staff to boost sales and enhance customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist upper management in training and developing staff, managing schedules, planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Support management in analyzing historical sales data and inventory to optimize stock levels.
  • Indirectly drive sales performance and uphold financial results and product quality.
  • Enforce food safety standards and ensure proper rotation and quality of products.
  • Contribute to all bakery production tasks, from preparation to delivery.
  • Utilize creativity for product decoration and attractive displays to boost sales.
  • Check incoming inventory for accuracy and handle product ordering paperwork.
  • Encourage sales through suggestive selling and appealing product presentations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company safety procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing inquiries efficiently.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Intermediate understanding of bakery operations.
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff.
  • Proficient in multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • Capability to operate digital equipment and tools safely.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED with one or more years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Food Handler and Manager Food Safety certifications required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This role requires continuous vision, communication, and mobility. You will often lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs, with occasional lifts of up to 75 lbs, and may be exposed to varying temperatures and cleaning agents.
