About this Job The Academic Advisor, Senior Transitions Specialist, works as a member of the LSUS Student Success Center, performing a range of tasks enhancing and supporting our academic advising team and students. This position will serve as a generalist advisor to undergraduate students of all backgrounds and majors, while also monitoring and implementing strategies to ensure that final-year students are guided effectively in identifying their remaining graduation requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating resources and processes to maximize credit accumulation for timely graduation, guidance through graduation application processes, and support program coordination helping students prepare for transition from college to career. This position fosters personalized advising support aimed at addressing barriers, promoting engagement, and ensuring students are fully prepared for life after graduation.
