Contract
Pay rate: $28-37/hr
Hybrid- Boston, MA

Must Haves:

  • 2+ years of inventory experience (cycle counting, physical inventory, ''min/max understanding'', puts and takes, consumption, etc.)
  • Excel
  • Solid work ethic and curiosity

Job Description:
The Inventory Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring correct inventory valuation, and distribution of materials across the organization. This position requires technical and financial proficiency, analytical skills, and the ability to build relationships within the organization while supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in technology platforms with hands-on knowledge of inventory valuation methods, procurement, inventory control, and logistics to optimize material flow and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology
      • Running Month-end Count Reports
      • Receiving & Inventory Adjustments (vouchering Inventory)
      • WP GL Account Mapping (Understanding)
  • Finance
    • Review and verify all inventory financial transactions within the general ledger.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials
    • Monitor inventory levels to support operational requirements without overstocking
    • Cycle Counting Management
  • Logistics & Distribution
    • Coordinate material flow across departments, Locations and facilities.
    • Ensure efficient movement of goods from suppliers to internal teams or end users.


Qualifications
HS Diploma required
• 2-4 years of inventory management experience
• Function as customer support with responsibility for troubleshooting any Materials/shipping/inventory/etc. related problem, identifying the source of the problem or escalating it to the point of resolution
• Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and vendors
• Demonstrated ability to work with people of different races, ethnicities, sexual and gender identities and expressions, ages, abilities and experiences
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress, fast-paced environment
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
