Warehouse - Materials Handler

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Shreveport, Louisiana

Job Description:

• Pay Rate: $18 - $27 /hr depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire
• Current Available Shifts:
  • Weekday AM Shift: Monday - Thursday (7am - 5:30pm) With some mandatory OT on Fridays
  • Weekday PM Shift: Monday - Friday (5pm - 3:30am) - $3 shift diff. With some mandatory OT on Friday night - Saturday

Job Summary:

• The Materials Handler is responsible for executing material handling and for movement within the facility in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Issue and transfer parts for production.
• Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or general educational development (GED)
• Excellent problem-solving, verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in supply chain warehousing activities or equivalent roles are preferred.
• 3-5 years of forklift experience.
