Join our team as a Product Merchandiser!

This position plays a crucial role in product merchandising within large volume stores such as grocery chains. You'll be responsible for stocking shelves, organizing coolers, setting up attractive displays, and maintaining product rotation to ensure customer satisfaction. Your interactions with store personnel will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock and merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products for assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in both the backroom and on the shelf to maintain freshness.
• Efficiently transport products between the backroom and the sales floor using company equipment.
• Set up promotional materials like signs and banners to attract customer attention.
• Keep backroom stock organized and tidy.
• Communicate any store issues with management at both the store and company level.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with store personnel.
• Follow all operating procedures, including scanning products and adhering to designated routes.
• Provide excellent customer service focusing on building rapport and addressing customer needs.
• Work independently while managing your time and duties effectively.
• Utilize hand-held devices for order writing and input.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to pass physical capability assessments if required.
• Transportation to travel between multiple store locations during your shifts.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and proof of insurance.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in retail or grocery environments, especially understanding backroom operations and inventory management.
• Skills in moving and handling products safely using company equipment.
• Experience with merchandising, including shelf stocking and display creation.
• Good organizational skills in managing stock room inventory.
• Experience providing customer service, including addressing complaints and meeting customer needs.
