SGI Global is seeking a General Clerk II to support the United States Attorney's Office, Western District of Louisiana. The General Clerk II will provide clerical, administrative, and litigation support services in support of immigration-related cases, including habeas corpus petitions and judicial review of agency actions. These services require knowledge of office administrative practices, document management, and case tracking processes, along with the ability to manage high volumes of case-related documentation accurately and efficiently.).
Position is contingent upon award

Job Duties
Analyze types of immigration filings and properly identify and account for TRO deadlines and other injunctive relief
Updating local and division-wide deadlines and documents daily, as well as docket information
Maintaining databases/files and correspondence regarding immigration litigation compliance
Preparing documentation pertinent to new, current, and closing immigration cases
Communicating with agency staff regarding deadlines, data gathering and entry, and case details
Assisting with full case openings for immigration cases
Qualifications :
Certificate or Associate's degree in office administration, paralegal studies, or a related field;
One year of experience in clerical, office, or administrative support services;
A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for experience;
A U.S. Citizenship;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, document creation and management, business administration, and data entry.
