Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receive a list of assigned rooms from management and prioritize those requesting early cleaning.
  • Check and restock the cleaning cart with necessary supplies.
  • Knock and announce yourself before entering rooms; return later if they are occupied.
  • Remove soiled linens and towels, providing fresh replacements.
  • Make beds neatly and stock towels, washcloths, and hand towels in accordance with hotel policy.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchenette areas following hotel standards.
  • Wipe room surfaces and clean mirrors.
  • Vacuum floors and manage waste removal.
  • Restock complimentary coffee, snacks, and toiletries based on the hotel checklist.
  • Ensure rooms meet hotel standards with a final inspection.
  • Notify supervisors of room availability and report any suspicious activities to security.
  • Oversee the laundering of soiled linens, including loading washers and dryers, and folding items as needed.
  • Inform the maintenance department of any repairs required.
  • Deliver found items to the designated lost and found area.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
