1-800 WATER DAMAGE of NE TX & NW LA is seeking a reliable, motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Shreveport office (71109). We provide emergency water,fire, and property restoration services, so our environment is fast-paced and customer-focused.

We are looking for someone organized, dependable, and comfortable handling multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.

Schedule

Full-time preferred

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Minimal weekend involvement may occasionally be required due to emergency operations

Pay & Benefits

$15–$19 per hour, depending on experience

Paid training provided

Paid holidays after 90 days (company-approved holidays)

PTO available after first full year of employment

Performance-based bonuses available

Primary Responsibilities

Answering phones and assisting customers

Supporting dispatch operations

Working with TPA coordinators in Texas and Louisiana

QuickBooks tasks including invoicing, categorization, payroll assistance, and financial record management

Accounts receivable and collections follow-up

Document organization and file management

Customer communication and job coordination

Occasional trips to UPS, FedEx, or USPS as needed

Required Qualifications

QuickBooks proficiency is REQUIRED. Applicants without QuickBooks experience will not be considered.

Strong customer service and phone communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter and quick learner

Organized and dependable

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Experience

Payroll experience preferred (training available)

Experience with Google Sheets and office software (training available)

Experience in restoration, construction, or service industry offices is a plus
