About this Job Southern University at Shreveport Louisiana (SUSLA) is one of five campuses within the Southern University System, the nations only historically Black university system. SUSLA serves approximately 3,180 undergraduate students and employs over 400 full- and part-time faculty and staff. Located on more than 100 acres on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, the university offers 33 undergraduate degree programs and awards approximately 350 degrees annually. In addition to the main campus, SUSLA operates the Southern University at Shreveport Downtown Metro Center, which provides advanced allied health programs, and the Southern University at Shreveport Aerospace Technology Center located at the Shreveport Downtown Airport, home to FAA-approved aerospace technology and maintenance programs.
