The Material Handler is responsible for assisting with unloading inbound shipments safely and moving product to storage locations. - - Shift: 1st, 7:00 am-3:00 pm - - Essential Duties: Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Performing picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service requests Assist in physical inventory Efficiently move product from staging areas into rail cars or trailers Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, putaway, and load functions, as required Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards to unload and load shipments safely.
