Join Our Dynamic Team as a Respiratory Therapist - RRT/CRT

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in respiratory therapy
• Expertise in attending high-risk deliveries and supporting NICU/PICU patients
• Proficiency in airway and ventilator management, ABG analysis, and non-invasive ventilation
• Ability to perform neonatal intubation if necessary
• Experience with arterial puncture and ABG analysis
• Strong knowledge of inhaled medications, including nitric oxide
• Comfortable with emergency code blue and rapid response protocols
• Certification in BLS, NRP; ACLS and PALS preferred
• NBRC National accreditation; RRT preferred, CRT acceptable
• LA State Licensure in Respiratory Therapy
• Valid Driver's License; willingness to float across four campuses

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with specific ventilator equipment (Servo U/I, Trilogy, V60, EV300, Vapotherm devices, ResMed Lumis TX)
• Familiarity with charting systems such as Meditech Expanse
• Additional certifications or training in advanced airway management or neonatal resuscitation
• Prior experience with ECMO support

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Current NBRC credential (RRT highly preferred, CRT acceptable)
• Active state licensure in Louisiana
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in critical care or neonatal/pediatric settings
• Comfort attending high-risk deliveries and neonatal intubations

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to support multiple campuses within a 20-25 minute drive
• Flexibility to float between facilities and adapt to changing schedules
• Availability for 36/48-hour shifts, including every other weekend and call shifts (ground and air transport)
• Participation in orientation sessions covering all four sites
• Scrub color: Pewter
