Delegate authority and assign responsibilities./liliReview surveillance activities with the General Manager./liliMeet with departmental directors and managers as necessary./liliResponsible for planning, controlling, communicating and implementing procedures and processes for the overall efficient operations of the department./liliEnsure staff is trained and prepared to deliver the highest level of customer service to the guests in order that they might have a positive gaming and entertainment experience./liliEnsure the safety and security of employees and customers. Manages programs and processes to control and reduce loss time injuries./liliAssists and advises other departments and personnel as necessary to ensure the successful performance of the Hotel and the Company overall./liliMeet with directors and managers as necessary./liliControls and facilities processes to ensure proper head count and employee coverage in all operational departments. Monitors FTEs, actual head count, and overtime./liliAchieve departmental and individual performance goals and duties in a timely manner./liliDemonstrate ability to understand, communicate and comply with Company Policies, Processes, and Procedures./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulh3What You Will Need/h3ulliHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferred./liliSeven to ten years experience in security or surveillance in a large volume business or industry with a 4 year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience preferred./liliMust have or be able to obtain a valid LA State Gaming License and Responsible Vendor card./liliThe ability to obtain and maintain any licenses, permits, insurance, or indemnifications necessary for the completion of duties and responsibilities associated with this position or for the protection of the Companys assets, employee or patrons./li/ulpstrongADDITONAL REQUIREMENTS/strong/pulliKnowledge of all gaming laws and regulations./liliManagement abilities demonstrated in managing department and areas./liliPublic relations and customer service skills./liliOral and written communication skills./liliMaintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel./liliTimeliness and accuracy in performing assigned duties and responsibilities./liliAbility to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results./liliAbility to manage and resolve complex issues.
