Job Summary The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to fabricate metal components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Select proper tooling and adjust machine settings for each job Perform accurate measurements to ensure parts meet specifications Inspect finished products for quality and compliance Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience required/preferred Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to required weight Dependable with a strong work ethic Work Environment Manufacturing/industrial setting May include exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and metal materials
