Job Details

Our client is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for commercial projects. This role is responsible for day-to-day field leadership, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time,and to quality standards. Ground-up commercial construction experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily jobsite operations for commercial construction projects

• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries

• Enforce jobsite safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment

• Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts

• Ensure construction work is completed per plans, specifications, and quality expectations

• Conduct regular jobsite walks and inspections

• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors, and inspectors

• Maintain daily reports, documentation, and field records

• Support project closeout and punch list completion

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of commercial construction experience

• Ground-up commercial project experience preferred

• Experience with office building construction is a plus

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations

• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate trades

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
