Northwestern State University's College of Nursing and School of Allied Health (CONSAH) invites applications for the position of Director of Assessment, Evaluation, and Planning, a full-time, 12-month tenure-track faculty appointment available on the Shreveport campus beginning January 5, 2026.

The Director of Assessment, Evaluation, and Planning provides academic leadership and support for program-level assessment, evaluation, accreditation, and institutional effectiveness within CONSAH. The Director works collaboratively with department heads, program directors, faculty, and the Office of Institutional Research to facilitate evidence-based decision-making, ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and promote continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing and allied health.

Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree in nursing, education, allied health, or a closely related field and have three years of experience in academic assessment, program evaluation, accreditation processes, or institutional effectiveness. College-level teaching experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary programs are essential.
Job duties include serving on all Program Curriculum Committees (PCCs) and program-level assessment committees, collaborating with department heads and program directors to develop and refine assessment plans, outcome measures, and data collection strategies, assisting faculty in aligning course-level outcomes with program outcomes and accreditation standards, providing leadership and guidance in the analysis and application of formative and summative data to support excellence in teaching, learning, and curriculum delivery, and engaging in scholarship, professional development, and service consistent with university and college expectations for tenure-track faculty.
