PURPOSE:The Blending Team Member position is responsible for preparing blends according to formulations and procedures developed by the lab.KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure efficient execution of the Blend or Bulk fluids schedulePrepare blends according to formulations and proceduresdeveloped by the labResponsible for the accuracy of all base oil and additive inventoryInventory count and reconciliationCoordinate with maintenance to ensure adequate time is allotted for scheduled maintenance and/or repairsOrganize warehouse for cleanliness and safety at all timesMaintain all safety standards, including wearing PPE as requiredInitiate corrective and preventative actions as neededSupports the strategic and operational direction of the businessAdditional duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of six months experience in a blending/packaging roleBasic computer literacyBasic math skillsMust be able to work any shiftMust be able to pass pre-employment assessmentMust be able to perform the essential functions of the job including physical lifting of up to 50 lbs.PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:SAP experienceCOMPETENCIES:Must be capable of working in a team environmentExcellent organizational skillsWork with minimal supervisionSelf-motivated and detailed-orientedExcellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the companyFosters positive work relationships and is a solid team playerAble to complete projects in a timely manner and get resultsDemonstration of Calumet Values - Safety, Environment & Social Responsibility, Teamwork, Ownership, Passion for Customers, and Excellence
