SUMMARY:The Process Coordinator is responsible for support of the shift team in the development of systems and processes to improve overall refinery performance including rounds, PM execution, process troubleshooting, etc. The Process Coordinator reports to the Operations Superintendent.DESCRIPTION:Assure operator and maintenance PMs are executed on schedule and report deviationsOwns operator Rounds and Routine Duties calendars. Reviews for problems and gains input from resources for continuous improvementReviews and marks procedures for updates/improvements as needed in areaMonitors KPVs and advises shift team of actions needed to stay inside KPVsParticipates in PHAsOwns process operating envelope for safe, compliant and reliable productionWorks with Process, Safety and Reliability groups to develop SOLs for areaMonitors compliance with SOLs and investigate deviationsReview bypassed alarms procedures, bypassed control valves and SIS systems routinelyOwner of alarm priority and nuisance alarm managementOwner of assigned incident investigationsRoutinely audits area housekeeping and crew safety (procedures, safe work permitting, etc) as set by SuperintendentOwner of Environmental and Title V incidents for investigation and correctionOwns execution of operating plan in area within defined limitsAssures execution of process and water treatment programsInvestigates quality issuesDrives yield and energy optimizationBackfill for some Reliability Coordinator functions as neededESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES (Subjective Requirements):Must exhibit effective team skillsCapable of working with all levels of the organizationMust be able to work through multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectivelyMust be able to develop and implement systems to train, qualify and develop hourly Operations staff and demonstrate continuous improvement in this disciplinePOSITION REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Skill Set):3-5 Years Refinery Operations or related ExperienceHG Diploma, GED or Degree in Related FieldGood communication, training, mentoring skills requiredSound leadership skillsPREFERENCES:Refinery process unit troubleshooting and optimization experience
