Position Overview:

The Maintenance Mechanic performs maintenance, repair, installation, and rebuilding of critical plant equipment to support safe and reliable operations. This role works independently and alongside Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot issues, execute repairs, support outages and special projects, and ensure production continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform mechanical maintenance and repair functions on operating and service equipment using standard and specialized tools.

-Operate equipment as necessary to support repairs and maintain operational continuity.

-Assist in developing and implementing work procedures, Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

-Participate in scheduled outages, down days, and special projects.

-Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

-Participate in Root Cause Analysis activities to identify and resolve equipment and process issues.

-Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address equipment concerns and tooling changes.

-Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and support organizational safety goals.

-Contribute to a culture of professionalism, accountability, and operational excellence.

-Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: 30.58/hr with 8hrs OT built in to schedule and more OT opportunities available + monthly production bonuses that can be up to 30% monthly compensation

Shift: Rotating 12 hr shift scheduled between days and nights, 4 days on, 5 days off, 4 nights on, 5 nights off Job 59134
