We're seeking a Reliability Engineer who thrives on solving complex equipment challenges, improving asset performance, and driving continuous improvement. In this role, you'll work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to reduce equipment failures, improve reliability, and optimize plant performance through data-driven decision making and proven reliability methodologies.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually

Schedule: M-F Day Shift, Occasional off-hours support and scheduling flexibility required based on operational needs

Position Overview:

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvements in equipment reliability and asset performance throughout the facility. This position provides technical leadership and support for key production assets while implementing reliability improvement processes designed to reduce downtime, minimize equipment failure risks, and improve overall operational effectiveness.

The Reliability Engineer will develop and maintain reliability programs, lead root cause investigations, identify improvement opportunities, and support both maintenance and engineering teams in achieving world-class reliability performance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategy aligned with business objectives.

-Identify and implement best practices that improve equipment reliability and maintainability across the facility.

-Guide efforts to improve the reliability of equipment, utilities, facilities, control systems, and safety systems.

-Apply reliability methodologies and tools to optimize asset performance and reduce operating costs.

-Monitor reliability KPIs and performance metrics to proactively identify issues and improvement opportunities.

-Track production losses and maintenance cost drivers to identify opportunities for improvement.

-Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations and corrective action implementation for complex or recurring failures.

-Conduct risk assessments and reliability evaluations to reduce operational risks.

-Develop engineered solutions for chronic equipment and process issues.

-Improve preventive maintenance effectiveness through PM optimization and process improvements.

-Develop and maintain critical equipment lists, critical instrumentation lists, and critical spare parts inventories.

-Support risk management initiatives related to equipment reliability and operational continuity.

-Support capital projects through historical data analysis, reliability recommendations, and asset performance insights.

-Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability and maintainability of new and modified equipment installations.

-Participate in equipment design reviews, commissioning plans, and startup activities.

-Verify new installations meet reliability and functional specifications.
