Gaming Equipment Technician

The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various gaming and amusement-related equipment, including Video Poker machines, Pool Tables, Internet Jukeboxes, Golden Tee, surveillance equipment, and networking devices. The ideal candidate will also handle cabling tasks, complete state-mandated forms for gaming equipment, and demonstrate the ability to work in varied environments with flexibility and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair gaming-related equipment (Video Poker).
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair amusement-related equipment (Pool Tables, Internet Jukeboxes, Golden Tee).
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair surveillance equipment.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair network and related networking equipment.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cabling of all sorts (CAT5, Coax, Fiber Optic, etc.)
• Complete state-mandated forms for gaming equipment.
• Have the ability to drive vehicles/trailers of all types and sizes
• Have the ability to work in small, hot and dirty environments.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain quality standards in all tasks.
• Be flexible with your duties and schedule to support the casino's operational needs.
• Uphold and embody the company's core values consistently.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years.
• Clear background check with no felonies or misdemeanors related to theft or gaming violations.
• Ability to multitask, stand for extended periods, lift up-to 150 pounds, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Proficient in basic language and mathematical skills.
• Capable of understanding and following instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Demonstrates punctuality and reliability in attendance.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

It is crucial for the cashier to maintain valid State and Parish Certifications and/or Licenses while on duty. Ensure you possess the following certifications:

• State of Louisiana Video Poker Permit
• Valid State driver's license
• Copy of Social Security Card
