SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for report preparation for Department Heads. Specialized areas require a familiarity with discipline-specific procedures, formats, and terminology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Administrative Assistant works directly with Division Managers and Professional Staff to produce accurate and technical reports for all ALTEC projects. Administrative Assistants prepare and produce reports for all areas of expertise in the company and must have a basic understanding of department-specific procedures, formats, and terminology. An understanding of the process of gathering field data is an essential part of preparing and proofing reports. Administrative assistants are also responsible for generating and sending client invoices and preparing monthly staff meeting reports for the Division Manager.

There is no minimum education or experience level required to perform this job. However, specific duties may be assigned which can require individual certifications which have varying educational/experience requirements. A professional office background with clerical experience is preferred.
