Old Dominion - - Responsibilities: Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack, or manually in compliance with state and federal DOT guidelines; Use various loading techniques (e.g., loading tight or cross loading); Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, or airbags; Read and interpret shipping labels and forms used in freight movement (shipping orders, manifests, freight bills, etc.); Operate the dock yard management system to monitor shipment locations within the service center
