Our client, a 450+ employee manufacturing facility, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all plant HR functions. This is a highly visible leadership role supporting a large manufacturing operation while partnering closely with plant leadership to drive employee engagement, workforce planning, talent development, and HR compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all plant HR operations for a 450+ employee manufacturing facility
  • Partner with plant leadership on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development
  • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and employee development
  • Manage compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, HR metrics, and workforce reporting
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
  • Lead employee investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture while driving continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of Human Resources leadership experience within manufacturing
  • Experience supporting large manufacturing workforces (400+ employees preferred)
  • Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, and HR operations
  • Experience with HRIS systems (SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar) is a plus
