Security Officer

Respond to assist anyone reporting a security incident. Maintain a visual presence designed to deter unwanted activity through active patrols (on foot and vehicle). Document details of security incidents and calls for service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff and the public, to understand and follow standard operating procedures, to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Prefer individual to have law enforcement experience but not required.
• Required to have current Willis Knighton Health System Certification to carry
  a weapon while in performance of job. Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
