Make a meaningful impact supporting a 7th grade student in their educational journey by providing direct 1:1 American Sign Language (ASL) services within a school environment. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to utilize your ASL fluency and paraprofessional skills to ensure full access to the curriculum for a student in need. Working closely onsite with educators and the student near Bossier City, you'll be part of a collaborative and inclusive setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a paraprofessional in a K-12 school setting
• Advanced fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
• Familiarity with supporting students with unique learning needs, especially those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Demonstrated ability to work 1:1 with students and implement educational plans
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with teachers and staff
• High school diploma or GED; additional education or certifications preferred
• Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and student-centered service

Position Highlights:

• Provide individualized 1:1 ASL interpretation and academic support for a 7th grade student throughout the school day

Contract Details:

• 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Academic calendar from August 6, 2026 to May 19, 2027
