Bring your passion for excellence to our table.As Material Handler III- Transfer Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced material handling support to ensure efficient movement, tracking, and availability of inventory and materials across departments while maintaining accurate records and supporting production needs.Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position is based in Shreveport, LA*.This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work and reside in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin or Wyoming. Due to payroll, tax, and employment law requirements, applicants must be located in one of these states at the time of hire.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist other departments as needed to support operational goals.Coordinate with Production Control, Purchasing, Sales & Service, Shipping & Receiving, and Engineering.Maintain strong attendance, safety, and work performance standards.SafetyPerform daily inspections of company transport vehicles.Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).Operate hand trucks, hoists, powered industrial trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.QualityComplete and maintain accurate electronic processes and paperwork (checklists, barcoding, blueprints, etc.).Perform cycle counts and inventory management functions.Maintain warehouse reorder dispatch systems and ensure inventory accuracy.DeliveryTrack and determine status of work in process to meet daily requirements.Transfer inventory between warehouses or departments as needed.Manage Kanban processes including scanning, transporting, and restocking materials.Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent1 to 2 years of forklift experience1 to 2 years in inventory management experienceExperience driving a 26 ft box truck with air brakesSkills & Abilities:Understanding of Kanban systems and inventory control processesAbility to operate material handling equipment and work with computerized tracking systems (CRT)Working Conditions:Warehouse and production environment with frequent movement of materialsAbility to work mandatory overtime, flexible hours, and/or overtime on short notice.Safety-sensitive positionOur Benefits:We believe that our people our one of our most valuable assets.
