The International Student Office Coordinator reports to the Assistant Dean for International Students supporting the staff and mission of the university International Student Office. The role requires an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to support and to contribute to the internationalization efforts of the University. This role involves comprehensive support for international students through application and immigration processes as well as providing advice to faculty and students, developing marketing and program promotion collateral, and coordinating events and recruitment activities. Skills & Knowledge - Knowledge of the US educational system. Ability to work independently and within a small team, and with others in various time zones. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong IT literacy, being able to use word processing, presentation, finance, spreadsheet, and database packages. Training/certification in immigration compliance. Expertise working within admission, CRM, and enrollment platforms. Process implementation skills. Language and translation skills.
Personal Attributes - Excellent customer service and team building. Highly personable and culturally sensitive. Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken. Willingness and flexibility to work outside typical office hours, on occasions where necessary. Experience supervising student staff. Possession of a current passport
