Job TitleResponsibilities (will include but are not limited to the following):Operate a gas or electric powered forklift to load, unload, move and stack materials and productsFollow work orders to compile accurate product loads for deliverySafely store product in specific locations as instructedSafely stack products from pallets, trays, racks, shelves, etc.Securely load product on delivery vehiclesDaily track and report units moved and handledSafety awareness and prevention is the duty of all employees. As an employee of Eagle Distributing, it is incumbent of you to think safe, be safe, act safe and be aware of all situations that could put safety in jeopardy to any employee or our customers. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on company vehicles. Follow all traffic laws, ordinances and regulations of Local, State, Federal and Company.QualificationsMust be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license and safe driving recordHighly self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to set priorities and be attentive to detailsGood math skillsAbility and willingness to work flexible hoursAbility to work in a team environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsPhysical requirements include: Repetitive bending, lifting up to 40 lbs, pulling/pushing up to 250 pounds on a two-wheelerWork Experience RequirementsPrior warehousing preferredForklift Operator CertificationEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED certificate required
