We win together as one team.As Inventory Analyst I, you will be responsible for ensuring orders are shipped on time and that KPIs for the Materials Team are met.Reporting directly to the QAD Business Analyst, this position is based in Shreveport, LA.This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work and reside in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virgina, Wisconsin or Wyoming. Due to payroll, tax, and employment law requirements, applicants must be located in one of these states at the time of hire.Duties & Responsibilities:PeopleCoordinate with Material Handlers, Purchasing, Finance, Quality and EngineeringSafetyWear all required personal protective equipmentObserve all prescribed safety rules and regulationsDaily inspection of any equipment used to move materialQualityPerform and manage cycle counts, transfersImplement ECO/PCO changes to inventoryEnsure inventory accuracy through regular auditsOther tasks as defined to drive inventory accuracyDeliveryPrepare and adjust production schedule to meet customer demandSupport root cause investigations of inventory inaccuraciesMaintain and update item dataCoordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Quality and Shop floor leads to resolve material shortages, capacity conflicts and missing parts affecting schedulesEnsure data integrity through regular audits, reconciliation of manual logs to system data, and documentation of data capture proceduresBuild out and report on KPI's for Material HandlersOther duties as described to ensure on time delivery rates and inventory accuracyQualificationsEducation & Experience:Associate's Degree2–4 years of experience in lieu of a degreeSkills & Abilities:Able to utilize ERP and ensure data accuracyKnowledge of location systems and inventory pull systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCreate and maintain KPIs to ensure inventory accuracy and qualityStrong skills with reporting tools (e.g. QAD, Excel, Power BI)Familiarity with Production scheduling and continued improvement plans a plusWorking Conditions:Ability to bend, stoop, kneel crouchAbility to work mandatory overtime, flexible hours, and/or overtime on short noticeSafety sensitive PositionPPE is requiredOur Benefits:We believe that our people our one of our most valuable assets.
